Industrial Wastewater and Anaerobic Digestion Process Engineer

Azura is a niche consulting firm specializing in industrial wastewater treatment and anaerobic digestion and we are seeking an entrepreneurially-minded Process Engineer to join our growing team.
About You
Your initiative, communication skills, and ability to work closely with others set you apart. You hold a bachelor’s (or advanced) degree in science, engineering, or a related field and you have client-facing experience working on technical issues. From business development to technical analysis, through to implementing solutions, you are interested in exploring all aspects of the most complex and challenging projects that many consultants don’t get to see.
About Azura
We do things differently than most consultants. Rather than being one part in the process, Azura team members are engaged with clients for the entirety of the project. We’re small and lean—from HR to IT, IP protection, and how to work on legal matters, we wear multiple hats and get to learn about many different domains. We expect that you will bring the same “get-it-done” and “team first” mindset that has been critical to our cumulative success. With this transparency in mind, our compensation strategy is based on a moderate base salary and aggressive incentive bonus program paid quarterly.
Location
Aside from education and technical skills, you must be legally and cheerfully able to visit locations across North America as project work often takes us to industrial client sites. Digesters run 24/7, and we sometimes work outside of the typical office hours to best serve our clients.
Our office is located in Waterloo, Ontario and the Azura team has returned to a mostly in-person work environment. However, we do offer a variety of flexible work options to help balance the demands of work and personal life.
