Fuel Value Forecasting

BMP (Biomethane Potential) testing has long been used as a gold standard for assessing potential biogas fuel value. While this test can give insight to potential revenue and RNG upgrader sizing, it lacks key details that are critical for the design of your biogas project.

At Azura we look at the whole picture, not just the tip of the iceberg. Relying on a BMP is like judging a diet by its calorie count—while important, it doesn’t tell you how balanced the diet is. A balanced diet is key to the long-term success of anaerobic digesters (AD). For AD projects feeding mixed food waste, source separated organics (SSO), or considering the organic fraction of municipal solids waste (OFMSW), a BMP test alone is not suitable for design. A more thorough feedstock investigation can help avoid costly process biology and chemistry issues.

Digestate Testing

Good digesters run on good data. Digestate testing tells you what’s happening inside the digester tank and if the biology is happy (or not!). Regular digestate testing provides you the opportunity to benchmark against what a healthy digester looks like and lets Azura craft an optimal diet for your digester. Wastewater Testing

Whether your facility is serviced by a municipal utility or you discharge directly to the environment, Azura can help assess your waste stream. We combine investigative lab testing with operating knowledge to identify what matters most for: treatment feasibility, compliance, troubleshooting, and optimization. Instead of just delivering numbers, we provide context, identify risks, and offer actionable next steps.
