Azura’s #TeamPlaid had a fantastic time in Motor City at the Biogas Americas conference. Hosted by the American Biogas Council this show is North America’s largest Biogas and RNG Industry Event. The event took place May 18 through 21, 2026 in Detroit, Michigan and saw a record breaking 2,000 renewable energy professionals from the United States, Canada, and around the world. This was our first year participating in the technical exhibition and it was a great success! Azura’s David Ellis, Peter Quosai, and James Arambarri shared the booth with Ivan Baadsgaard from GrainIT Biomass Manager and had many discussions about digester data and how it can help improve performance.
Demand for biogas continues to grow in the United States and the Biogas Americas Conference was a fantastic opportunity to meet with industry leaders and learn about innovative projects and new technology. The conference brought together a global audience with a focus on growing the biogas market and creating a more sustainable future. This includes renewable energy professionals from the full spectrum of the biogas and RNG industry including project developers, owners, operators, investors, equipment suppliers, technology vendors, policymakers, and service providers.
