Azura’s Team Plaid is excited to attend the upcoming Value of Biogas West Conference hosted by the Canadian Biogas Association. Dave Ellis, James Arambarri, and Trisha Aldovino will head to Vancouver, BC for the conference which will take place October 7 through October 9, 2024. The Value of Biogas conferences are renowned as Canada’s premier gatherings for the biogas and renewable natural gas (RNG) industry. In 2023 the conferences had record attendance, and this fall more than 400 biogas professionals will be meet in Vancouver to engage in insightful discussions and networking. This is a fantastic opportunity to connect with business leaders, legal experts, project developers, technology vendors, as well as anaerobic digestion and RNG subject matter experts. Azura is pleased to not only be a sponsor, but to once again be given the opportunity to share our experience and expertise at the event.
Azura’s Trisha Aldovino has been invited to join the “Importance of Technical Expertise” panel discussion at 11:30am on October 9th. Sam Huang from Tetra Tech, and Jason Bridges from Terravest Renewables will join Trisha to discuss both the importance of, and requirement of technical knowledge to foster appropriate biogas expertise. Trisha will share insights from Azura Associates’ more than thirty years of hands-on experience working with anerobic digesters.
Team Plaid is also looking forward to the site tour – which is always a favourite part of the Value of Biogas conferences! This year James and Trisha will visit Dicklands Biogas which is the largest RNG producer in British Columbia. Dicklands Biogas co-digests 42,000 tons of manure and 40,000 tons of food waste to produce 205,000 GJ of RNG per year!
