Azura Associates is pleased to share our contributions to a paper that was published in Volume 11 of the Environmental and Sustainability Indicators journal. The paper is a case study focused on the environmental load of an Anaerobic Digestion facility in Ontario.
A case study of a full-scale food waste digester failure and recovery was presented at the Value of Biogas West Conference in Vancouver. This case study demonstrates the need for balance in anaerobic digester feedstock as too much of the coveted FOG can be problematic.

Azura’s experience with food waste anaerobic co-digestion (AnCoD) and our work at energy producing biogas plants was the basis for one of two podium presentations scheduled for the 2020 WEAO conference.
